Operation Analyst

Our Product Movement and Inventory (PMI) organization is supporting ExxonMobil’s operations through managing crude and products end-to-end processes throughout the Supply Chain.
Our colleagues deal with hydrocarbon related movements such as purchase of raw materials, ensuring that crude and products are available at the right place and at the right time, keeping inventories at refineries and terminals, responsible for payment, invoicing, and collection.
Our goal is to ensure that all transactions are properly recorded, validated, and reported in the financial statements, as they move along the Supply Chain while working closely with multiple business lines.
Not one drop of hydrocarbons will move without us accounting for it timely and accurately!

 

What will your role be in the team
• Cooperating with business (Traders, Schedulers, Sales Managers, Terminal Operators) and other contacts to ensure timely booking of goods issues / goods receipts, cash collection and on-time payment;
• Partnering with the business operations to ensure the completeness of volumetric and commercial accounting records;
• Investigating discrepancies with 3rd party partners / affiliates for prompt resolution;
• Ensure completeness of inventory data, vendor / customer invoices for Month End Close;
• Preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly key performance indicators;
• Support local and global digitalization projects and drive process improvements leveraging SAP, Tableau, Python, Celonis, Navarik.

 

What are we looking for
• Ability to work full-time (40 hrs/week)
• Bachelor/Master degree (or pending degree with only the final exam outstanding) in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent with 0-2 years relevant work experience (in OTC, PtP, Material management or other relevant experience)
• Finance and Accounting background with minimum of 2 semesters of studies
• Fluent level of English and second European language is encouraged
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Attention to accuracy and detail and ability to meet priorities and deadlines
• Willingness to take initiative and seek challenges
• Ability to influence others and work in a team environment
• Good communication, collaboration, and coordination skills
• Digital and innovation capabilities
