WHAT ROLE YOU WILL PLAY IN OUR TEAM
Our Financial Accounting & Reporting (FA&R) organization prepares the external financial statements and reports that ExxonMobil's investors and stakeholders rely on to make informed decisions about our business.
Our colleagues in FA&R poses a strong interest in accounting, systems and analysis and a passion for lifelong learning, which is supported by plenty of training opportunities and challenging job assignments.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Join a well-established, dynamic and professional team with the goal to maximize the value of ExxonMobil’s diverse portfolio
- Analyze and explain what drives the financial and operating results of the Europe/ Middle East / Africa business, for a country or a venture
- Report the financial data that will be reflected in ExxonMobil Corporation’s published external results
- Provide process and analytical support to Business teams in the local affiliates and HQ
- Build knowledge of end-to-end business processes, systems and tools
- Assess, design and improve complex financial analysis, reporting and accounting processes and related technology tools
- Join our Digital Innovation Program and drive digital innovation with involvement in exciting process transformation and improvement initiatives
- Participate in our Financial & Accounting Training program to further master your skills
- Participate in various site wide initiatives, including charity efforts, inclusion & diversity events, or networks to develop and grow your leadership skills
ABOUT YOU: SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work full time (40 hours/week)
- Completed studies in Accounting & Financial, Economic, Business, Taxation or equivalent field
- 3+ years relevant work experience with a large multinational company and/or Big 4 accounting firm and/or SSC with a focus on reporting, business analysis, financial accounting, income tax compliance or payroll accounting (one or several of these)
- Demonstrated, solid understanding of accounting, financial controlling; CPA or similar credential, equivalent experience is a strong advantage
- Problem solving mindset and ability to prioritize based on business needs
- Fluent English knowledge is a must, strong command of other European languages (particularly Italian, Dutch, French, German) is an advantage
- Highly motivated with a sense of ownership, willingness to learn, high degree of curiosity and desire to succeed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to convey ideas in a logical and concise way to non-financial personnel
- Team player and ability to collaborate in a multinational environment, with colleagues around the globe
