WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY IN OUR TEAM

 

We are looking for and experienced professional to join our Environmental Organization responsible for providing environmental and commercial support for E&PS activities at ExxonMobil. The ATS Commercial Advisor will assist with managing transactions related to environmental liabilities during acquisitions, trades, sales and other real estate related activities and provide technical support on remediation.

 

  • Ensure that environmental liabilities in transactions are identified and quantified in support of allocation negotiations and contract language maximizes shareholder value
  • Deliver technical support on remediation liability reduction strategies and technical consultation to E&PS and business lines, including cost effective tools to manage soil/groundwater assessment and transaction related remediation liabilities
  • Provide liability allocation/reduction guidance for transaction related activities
  • Develop risk based liability management strategies that maximize the total value of transactions
  • Identify and quantify potential transaction environmental liabilities through environmental due diligence
  • Assist in drafting contract language on environmental issues and leading management/buyers reviews
  • Develop negotiation strategies and participate in negotiations concerning environmental aspects of transactions
  • Meet with business line planning/transaction groups to review transaction plans, identify effective transaction liability management strategies and agree on standard commercial environmental contract terms
  • Advocate commercial environmental liability management strategies
  • Provide Project Managers and Portfolio Managers with post sale contractual obligations and manage post-sale contract/deed modification issues

 

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

 

  • Relevant College / University degree
  • Working knowledge of real estate
  • Demonstrated understanding of environmental regulations and standards
  • Sound business judgment and problem solving skills with the ability to make timely decisions
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven record of developing successful working relationships with emphasis on collaboration in an integrated project team environment
  • Storng work performance such as completeness, attention to details, freedom from errors, analytical soundness, creation of useful work products, etc.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Work, Power Point, Outlook, Sharepoint)
  • Available for periodic travel
