Job Role Summary

The Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) First Line Supervisor (FLS)  drives continuous improvements in the OIMS activities. Is responsible in directing and over-seeing the work performed by the OI Coordinator and Risk Coordinator.  Maintains the relationship with the SSHE FLS and Loss Prevention System (LPS) coordinators to ensure an aligned SSHE vision is met.  The OIMS Supervisor is responsible for managing reporting personnel to optimize performance and for their stewardship and career development.


Job Role Responsibilities

  • Coordination of OIMS activities
  • Keeps management and administrators engaged in the process
  • Follow-up on new global initiatives
  • Organizes internal and external OIMS and Regulatory Compliance assessments
  • Sets safety culture and oversees the safety of all direct reports
  • Mentors SSHE staff, identifies staff development needs / opportunities and provides timely, constructive feedback and guidance to facilitate career development and competency
  • Establishes credibility with unit and functional Management via ongoing communication and support
  • Ensures completeness and quality of SSHE deliverables and work products
  • Understands, guides, and influences technical SSHE decisions
  • Explains and promotes the team and company vision;  sets clear and measurable objectives;  engages, motivates and empowers team members
  • Promotes collaboration and teamwork;  creates a work environment where different perspectives are valued;  effectively manages conflict
  • Owner of site Safety and OIMS manual
