What role will you play in our team

 

Join us in helping grow our ProxximaTM polyolefin thermoset system business. We are now commercializing a range of resins that have been proven in field trials to outperform the conventional materials used in the production of composites. Our collaboration partners across the value chain are excited by the performance and business opportunity it brings.

 

ProxximaTM  is not a prepreg SMC material. It fits with RTM, Filament winding and Pultrusion processes.

 

Your role will be to establish the strategy and global business model to penetrate the automotive segment for Proxxima. A small team is already in place, but your role will be to identify staffing needs and lead the growth of in-house competencies to execute the sales growth.

 

The preferred location will be at the ExxonMobil European head-office in Brussels, but consideration will be made to the right candidate for other work locations across Europe.

 

What you will do

 

  • Lead the business development of ProxximaTM into the automotive segment.
  • Accountable for developing the business strategy, selecting the partner accounts, and driving the programs through to sales.
  • Responsible for understanding the value in use of this unique resin system and setting appropriate pricing strategies.
  • Accountable for the P&L projections of the segment.
  • Develop and lead a team of global business development resources.

 

About you

 

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

 

  • 10+ years in the automotive composites industry
  • Knowledge of the automotive composites' ecosystem with an existing network of contacts
  • Proven ability to work with customers and introduce new products, preferably resins.
  • Capable of translating market needs, technical and commercial, into a product and go-to-market strategy
  • Strong communicator with good mix of technical and commercial skills
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop people
