We are currently seeking a Pricing Advisor to join our multicultural team in our Head Office in Brussels, within the European Pricing Team. The team support our Commercial and Retail activities in Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg, France, United Kingdom, Norway, Italy and Germany, with products ranging from Fuels to Specialty Industries such as Asphalt, Marine, Aviation and LPG.

Job Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will offer tactical pricing advice to a country/cluster, relating to B2B or B2C sales channels. To achieve this they will need to leverage both market and customer insights with the objective of maximizing long term revenues for our fuels business. The key responsibilities are to:


  • Participate in country & pricing strategy studies 
  • Translate strategy into pricing tactics at geographic level, for both product and customer segments
  • Provide pricing expertise to evaluate most profitable sale channels
  • Maintain optimal long term pricing tactics between the different sales channels
  • Periodically review market, location and customer performance to identify opportunities for change and resolve issues 
  • Implement changes in pricing tactics, in line with government/legislative requirements


Expected Level of Proficiency


To be eligible for this role, you must:


  • Hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics or Finance. 
  • Be able to demonstrate fluent English language skills (with other languages offering significant benefit to the role)
  • Have prior experience of pricing, ideally within the fuels industry.
  • Be able to drive insights and recommendations based on analytics
  • Have the ability to collaborate effectively and influence multi-national and cross-functional teams
  • Be able to undertake irregular international travel

Additional desirable experience includes items such as revenue management, hedging / trading, and using AI in Pricing / dynamic pricing tools.
