What role you will play in our team

Subsea Controls Engineer will work as a key member of the Subsea team and will be responsible for all aspects of engineering delivery i.e. project engineering, scope management, schedule, interfaces with and change control, Technical Assurance, and Risk Management

Work location is Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

 

What you will do

 

  • Contribution to various aspects of discipline engineering technical work products
  • Interface with contractors and sub-contractors and ensure that the work is being executed in accordance with project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Includes review of discipline design drawings and documents
  • Responsible for specification, monitoring engineering and verifying qualification of subsea controls systems.
  • Responsible for reliable subsea controls system evaluation/selection

About you

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree from recognized university in instrumentation/electrical engineering/mechanical or related engineering with minimum GPA 6.0 and above
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in subsea controls equipment and subsea production equipment including trees, connectors, casing hangers, tubing hangers, running tools and operation of the equipment offshore
  • Awareness of basic subsea system architecture, and fundamental subsea hardware functionality
  • Familiar with operation of typical subsea system including general layout, process flow and chemical distribution
  • Familiarity with subsea processing technology is preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally
  • Strong interpersonal skills

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

  • Experience with subsea controls equipment and subsea production equipment including trees, connectors, casing hangers, tubing hangers, running tools and operation of the equipment offshore
