ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

 

ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

What role you will play in our team

 

  • Globally provide support to Procurement organization by assisting in deriving valuable business insights & propose solutions for strategic business planning through visualization by developing and maintaining dashboards
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance analytical tools and visualizations using various systems like SQL server management studio, Python, tableau desktop, PowerBI desktop
     

What you will do

 

  • Develop, maintain and enhance analytical tools and visualizations using tools like SQL, Tableau desktop, PowerBI desktop, Python/R, Snowflake, SAP Analytics and VBA
  • Provide insightful data analysis to support stakeholders on local, regional or global basis
  • Collaborate effectively with Engagement Lead, Procurement Manager/ Supervisor, Central Data Office (CDO) and Procurement (Commercial & Operations) to deliver on the analytical needs of the Procurement organization
  • Conduct research into systems issues as required, troubleshoot, and perform data mining and cleaning in preparation for analysis
  • Share the progress with stakeholders and potential opportunities with the data sets.
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards 
     

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6.5 CGPA
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Procurement Data Analytics and exposure to Source to Pay process
  • Experience particularly in building /developing business data insights for Procurement Metrics for Source to Pay
  • Comprehensive knowledge and at least 3 years Practical experience on analytical & visualization tools – SQL, Tableau desktop, PowerBI desktop
  • Should be having knowledge over tools like Snowflake, SAP Analytics and VBA
  • Knowledge of Python and R is an advantage
  • Knowledge on Procurement tools and applications like Ariba, GEP, SAP MM would be an added advantage
  • Should carry Analytical mindset to be able to work with massive amount of data
  • Should be self-motivated and to be able to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

 

  • Clear understanding of Procurement Commercial & Operations (Source to Contract and Purchase to Pay)
  • General knowledge of Oil and Gas industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and be able to work in a diverse team environment
