What role you will play in our team

 

We are seeking dynamic, creative and resourceful Software developer candidates for ExxonMobil's Bengaluru, India location.  In order to help steer and manage complex software development in an engineering domain. The ideal candidate will need to be able to interface with both engineers from capital projects and software developers in order to develop, support and sustain software’s for engineering domain.
Job location is based out of Bangalore, Karnataka

What you will do

 

Primary Job Functions

 

  • Interface with a global software development team.

  • Acting as the voice for end users and researchers within the development team.

  • Able to understand complex facility design modules, and relate those to develop software packages.

  • Develop CI CD pipelines, gather requirements, review code to approve pull request.

  • Document bugs within high-end software packages.

  • Be able design, create, & execute unit test cases.

  • Review/Modify source code with software developers when needed.

About You

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university in Information Technology or Computer Science or relevant disciplines for software development

  • Minimum 2 years of hands on experience in C# or .Net

  • Proficiency in English, strong interpersonal & communication skills

  • Experience with relevant software development in engineering domain

  • Experience with the scrum and agile practices

  • Experience with TFS, GIT, backlog management

  • Minimum 4 years of  experience working in software development

 

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

 

  • Previous experience in software development using .Net C#
  • QA/QC software development experience
  • Micro services architecture, Angular, Data dog
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is an added advantage
