ExxonMobil Returnship Program


The ExxonMobil Returnship Program is a back-to-work program for experienced professionals who are on a career break for various reasons like childcare, trailing spouse, extended personal travel, etc. Our 12-week Company-paid, office-based program enables returners with a soft launch that includes networking sessions, mentoring, training and a project assignment. At the end of the program and based on a performance evaluation, shortlisted candidates may be offered full-time employment at ExxonMobil.

Job Description

The Production Accounting Analyst will support the sustainment and improvements of Production Accounting processes, technology applications and should be able to deliver the below tasks:

 

  • Develop comprehensive understanding of Production Accounting volumetric processes and systems 
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver time sensitive work results
  • Perform necessary remote troubleshooting with Business Unit support and generate required reporting
  • Learn and apply analytical tools used for Production Accounting processes
  • Oversee Quality Control processes of Contractor results and coordinate actions with a Business Unit

Job requirements

 

  • Work experience as process engineer performing mass & volumetric balance troubleshooting to support an onshore oil and gas facilities 
  • Experience with performing data analysis and visualization
  • Strong leadership skills and capacity to steer a team in the right direction, embracing constructive feedback when required
  • Technical expertise in sustainment of a workflow execution  
  • Preferred experience with industry volumes allocation software (i.e., Procount, Citrix Procount, Field Data Gathering Application, or similar applications) 
  • Preferred experience with data analytical and visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, JMP, SEEQ, Excel Macros, Python application, or similar applications

Education and Work Qualifications

 

  • Engineering Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with minimum GPA 7.0/10 and above or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years’ work experience within the oil and gas industry (Upstream, Refining, or Petrochemical), currently must be on a career break while applying
  • Prior experience in Remote Technical Services role is preferred

Additional Skills – Non-Technical

  • Strong interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Strong organizational, planning, coordination, interface management, and critical thinking
  • Willing and able to travel as required, both domestic and international
