ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

 

ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.


The Global Business Center - Technology Center provides a range of technical and business support services for ExxonMobil’s operations around the globe.

What you will do

 

  • Requirements & Analysis: Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements related to Reliability & Maintenance systems.
  • Project Transition to Support (T2S): Assist in planning and executing T2S activities, preparing documentation, and ensuring support readiness for deployments.
  • System Documentation & Process Mapping: Maintain system process flows, functional specifications, configuration documents, and support knowledge articles.
  • Testing & System Validation: Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing; document defects; and support issue resolution across SAP PM, S/4HANA, and BTP touchpoints.
  • Operational Support: Provide Tier 2 functional support, troubleshoot system issues, analyze root causes, and recommend improvements during both Polaris deployment and legacy system phases.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with delivery teams, Product Owners, and global teams to ensure clear communication of system changes and alignment with architectural guidelines. 

 

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognized university in Computer/IT other relevant engineering disciplines
  • Minimum 3-6 years of work experience in SAP Plant Maintenance or SAP Enterprise Asset Management
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to document requirements, process flows, and test scenarios
  • Quick learner with a growth mindset, comfortable working with new tools and in cross functional teams
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under guidance from the System Architect
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with technical teams and global stakeholders.
