What role you will play in our team
We are looking for minimum 5 years experienced production engineers to support ExxonMobil's global portfolio of Deepwater, Conventional, Unconventional & Heavy Oil assets.
What you will do
- Collaborate with engineers and operators on global teams to analyze well/field performance and advise on production optimization
- Integrate with adjacent disciplines (reservoir, facilities, wells, operations) to execute opportunities for production debottlenecking, operations schedule optimization
- Support operator teams for operations schedule optimization, capacity enhancement, production planning and downtime optimization
- Conduct regular system surveillance for production and injection wells to identify and optimization opportunities
- Assess impact of identified system constraints, monitor and troubleshoot facility balance at field/platform/well level
- Conduct screening economic evaluations of well intervention and stimulation operations
- Manage production data, measurement and allocation quality assurance
- Build/sustain proprietary production engineering technology
About You
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university in petroleum /chemical/ mechanical/other relevant engineering disciplines with minimum GPA 7.0
- Knowledge of basic concepts including:
- Inflow/outflow/flowline modeling
- Production well testing and allocation principles
- Network modeling and facilities operations
- Well design, completion, and stimulation technologies
- Artificial lift methods and systems
- Reservoir surveillance
- Experience in production surveillance, troubleshooting and optimization of well and field performance
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate critical operating parameters through data and trend analysis
- Hands on experience with proprietary or vendor engineering analysis tools within the experience domain
- Mentorship and team leadership experience will be an advantage
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
- Experience with Engineering Applications such as IPM (GAP,PROSPER, Resolve),OFM and Hysys
- Experience with data visualization software (e.g. Power BI, SeeQ, XHQ)
- Experience in Production database management (e.g. Energy Components, PL/SQL)
