Roles and Responsibilities

Role
Provides regional supply planning leadership and interaffiliate coordination to support Singapore’s role as a strategic export hub 
•  Ensure effective S&OP integration, disciplined deployment planning, and strong supply execution across Asia Pacific, while strengthening supply bench capability, governance, and resilience
•  Drive and ensure coordination of all import/export planning, process, and exception management with Singapore as a major hub in the Asia Pacific region within the global supply chain

1.  Coordinate, Communicate, Align
•  Lead interaffiliate S&OP cadence across Asia Pacific, ensuring alignment between country demand plans, supply plans, and export deployment from Singapore
•  Consolidate interaffiliate supply risks, constraints, and trade-offs into clear decision narratives for regional review
•  Facilitate cross-affiliate alignment on planning assumptions (lead times, inventory targets, production constraints, and deployment priorities)
•  Challenge plans constructively to ensure realism, robustness, and alignment with network objectives
•  Reinforce adherence to agreed planning standards, policies, and governance across affiliates
•  Support simplification and standardization initiatives to reduce complexity in interaffiliate planning and execution
•  Ensure planning processes are documented, current, and transferable across teams
•  Coach and guide planners on planning logic, system usage, and decision-making frameworks
•  Support knowledge transfer, cross-training, and coverage planning to improve resilience and succession readiness
•  Stakeholder engagement and communication

2.  Execute Supply Lead and Inter-affiliate Process
•  Support Singapore’s role as a regional export hub by strengthening deployment-to-plan and manufacturing-to-plan execution discipline
•  Identify capability gaps across affiliate planning teams impacting interaffiliate supply effectiveness
•  Support product, network, and supply chain transitions (e.g., source changes, new routes, new affiliates) impacting interaffiliate flows
•  Ensure transitions are supported by robust supply plans, clear governance, and readiness checkpoints
•  Minimize service risk during transitions through early identification of constraints and disciplined execution follow-up
•  Identify opportunities to reduce excess, obsolescence, and inefficient deployments linked to planning misalignment
•  Reinforce cost-conscious decision-making in deployment, sourcing, and mitigation actions
•  Promote standard planning behaviors and consistent execution across the region

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Research (or related fields such as Applied Mathematics/Statistics)
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in supply chain network (exposure to team management is a bonus but supply chain planning experience is core)
  • Experience supporting supply chain activities for large scale operations preferred (particularly in Oil & Gas and FMCG)
  • Understand Supply Chain Fundamentals and Supply & Demand Principles
  • Proficient in SAP Systems and MS Excel knowledge is critical
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
  • Function effectively in a team environment, including virtual environments is critical
  • Strong background in statistics and/or analytics
  • Strong judgment, including ability to make quality decisions
  • Strong persuasion / communication skills / influence without direct authority
  • Experience in supply planning roles in Chemical, FMCG, CPG, Manufacturing, E -Commerce preferred
  • Experienced in petrochemical production/manufacturing process preferred
  • Experienced in conducting analyses and providing data driven recommendations for S&OP processes
  • Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
  • Customer oriented mindset and focus

  • Effectively interface with internal functions and external parties
  • Experienced in conducting analyses and providing recommendations for supply planning problems using
  • SAP IBP/APO, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis
  • Tableau and/or Power Bl for visualization
  • Power Query, Excel
  • Knowledge of R and/or Python for scripting is preferred
  • Strong performer with ability to prioritize work strategically and independently while also functioning well within a global, virtual team
  • Proven self-starter with strong collaboration and influence management skills; able to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experienced in conducting analyses and providing data driven recommendations for S&OP processes
  • Perseverant and resilient in the pursuit of objectives; willing to take on new challenges
