Job Role Summary


The Identity & Access Management Applications support team is a globally dispersed distributed team (Houston, Curitiba and Bengaluru) that develop and maintain IT applications around identity & access a total of 20+ applications, both in-house and vendor supported (i.e. Access Manager, WebBAR, Emurald, Enterprise Directory, etc)

Job Role Responsibilities


Development responsibilities may include


o    Develop applications based on an internally defined architecture and software development best practices
o    Maintain source code, source documentation, and version control
o    Code and debug internally developed applications
o    Develop plug-in modules to third party software
o    Follow and enhance agile development methodology and processes
o    Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products 
o    Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant technical solutions 
o    Create compelling user interfaces and experiences
o    Optimize performance


Support responsibilities may include


o    Collaborate with vendors to integrate third party software into a corporate computing environment
o    Install, configure, and deploy software which may include:
           Configure shared services (web, database, license, etc)
           Coordinate testing and troubleshooting with domain experts
           Develop scripts to deliver applications 
o    Review with application and user support contacts to update application documentation
o    Collaborate within a global IT organization to resolve issues
o    Coordinate and communicate with team members throughout the software development and support cycles
o    Ensure change management procedures are followed
o    Assess and mitigate application security exposures

Job Role Requirements


o    An Individual with Engineering degree in a related field from a recognized university scoring GPA 6.0 and above          
o    4 to 10 years of experience in design, development and implementation of web and client/server applications 
o    Technical expertise in web technologies such as ASP.NET, HTML, SQL Server, Internet Information Server (IIS) or other web integrations technologies 
o    Must have strong skills and/or experience in several of the following:
        Languages: Azure, ASP.NET (C#), Restul WebService
        Nice to Have : HTML5 / CSS3, Responsiveness, JavaScript, jQuery
        Databases: SQL Server (ETL, Development in Stored Procedures / Trigger, Working with large amount of data)
        Toolkits: Visual Studio .NET, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Data Tools
        Computing Environment: Windows Server 2008; Microsoft SQL Server 2008; MS Visual Studio C# ASP.NET MVC3, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, MSSQL, TFS Version Control
        Other:  Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Software Architecture, Configuration Management, Change Management, Web-services, Debugging Tools, User Interface Design
o    Must have strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
o    Must be a self-starter who works well in a global virtual team 
o    Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English
o    Ability to multi-task and manage workload under time pressure and changing priorities
o    Experience with Agile methodology, Version control (MS Team Foundation Server) and PowerShell and Active Directory considered as an advantage
o    Customer service focus
