ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India
ExxonMobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region.
ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.
ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.
The Global Business Center - Technology Center provides a range of technical and business support services for ExxonMobil’s operations around the globe.

What role you will play in our team
- Interfaces with data provider to collect emissions data and perform year over year change analysis
- Updates Data Collection Templates (DCTs), excel tracking tool, and sends DCTs to data providers
- Responds to data provider's queries
- Understands internal reporting requirements and completes reports (Environmental Performance Indicator (EPI), monthly and quarterly greenhouse gas (GHG) stewardships, monthly flaring report)
- Populates Environmental Data Management System (EDMS) database with data collected and performs quality assurance (QA)/quality control (QC)
- Calculates key performance indicators of flaring for Canadian assets
- Submits monthly flare categories in EDMS
- Updates monthly, quarterly, annual GHG stewardship slides for Canadian assets as well as in EDMS
What you will do
- Understands provincial and federal regulatory requirements to complete various emissions reports
- Prepares provincial/federal GHG reports and supports GHG verifications
- Performs QA/QC, Updates reportability tools for NPRI as well as prepares NPRI and Annual Emissions Inventory Reports (AEIR)
- Manages EDMS user access and reviews
- Generates emissions reports in EDMS and create pivot table in Excel
- Works with ExxonMobil Center of Excellence (CoE) to update quantification methods in EDMS
- Develops dashboards for various environmental stewardships
- Oversees fugitive emissions reporting associated with Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) program (utilize LeakDAS software)
- Prepares and estimated monthly GHG compliance and emissions for corporate plan forecast
- Performs QA/QC and maintain data in EDMS as well as exports the data to C-EDMS
- Updates GHG and cogen workbooks for federal GHG reporting
- Identifies and implements process improvements to emissions reporting
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Engineering, Science from a recognized university (with CGPA 6.0 and above)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Environmental field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Data reporting, analysis and visualization.
- Minimum 5 years of Environmental Metrics, Data Management and Analysis experience required
- Understanding of environmental compliance and regulatory industry standards
- Technical skills with environmental data management products and databases
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Capable of facilitating/coordinating teams across geographical regions and cultures
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, data visualization and leak detection software
- Advanced Microsoft excel proficiency working with complex formulas, integrating with other programs or data connections
- Experience and advanced knowledge on using data visualization application to manipulate data and draw insights
- Experience analyzing, trending and troubleshooting data integrity issues, prior experience with emission estimation and calculations would be preferred
- Demonstrates high attention to detail and ability to handle large amounts of technical information
- Experience in coordinating efforts across geographical regions
- Experience in coordinating across multiple levels of organization and have demonstrated initiative and taken up additional increasing responsibilities
- Experience in different areas of managing environmental data.
- Experience working with IT Systems (Advanced MS Excel, SSAS data cubes and statistical applications like Python/R, SaS, MS-SQL)
- Experience writing and supporting advanced functions linked to SSAS (Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services) data cubes is required
- Experience on data visualization application (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire)
- Willing to work in shifts (1.30 PM – 10.30 PM IST)
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Individual should have sound knowledge related to water, waste, climate change and other key environmental issues faced by business
- Ensuring all information for our reporting requirements is stored and prepared in a timely manner, while ensuring its readiness for internal or external audits
- Liaising with various business units, relevant stakeholders, and external suppliers to gather key information as required
- Proven track record within Sustainability Reporting frameworks and ESG indices is a plus
- Experience in implementing sustainability reporting requirements and data reporting in a large company
