Contracts Manager - Fuels/Lubes Retail & Marketing

Job Role Summary

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Processing Goods and Services Requisition
  • Review requisitions received from the business units (detailed scope of work, contract term, cost center, budget, DOAG approval, OIMS criticality, etc.)
  • Request for quotation, proposal, or tender bids to contractors
  • Evaluate proposals and bids received from contractors
  • Coordinate issues, if any, with business units
  • Prepare agreements and provide copy to concerned parties (contractor, business unit, procurement file)
  • Book purchase orders / agreements in SAP, SMART
  • Own and manage Asia Pacific Retail & Marketing purchase order and agreement
  • Support Senior Category Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies based on solid understanding of marketing agencies, media, advertising industry, retail station industry and related services
  • Direct experience or knowledge of industry specific software, platforms, and online tools
  • Ability to support business teams in identifying, communicating and creating project plans for specific projects or for ongoing service providers
  • Identify business value and agreement rationalization opportunities
  • Ensure transactional efficiency of agreements
  • Process execution in compliance with acceptable / required controls standards
  • Steward tactical supplier and client relationships and key business interfaces, including F&L sales and marketing executive leadership
  • Ensure transactional efficiency of agreements (SAP friendly)
  • Assist with troubleshooting invoicing and PO’s.
  • Active contribution in Category networks and use of category planning sites

 

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business, marketing, or relevant degrees from a recognized university
  • About 5 years or more years of working experience in Retail & Marketing (customer account management), business development
  • In above overall working experience, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in contracting, procurement and/or sales experience is preferred
  • In above overall working experience, a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in WPP / Dentsu / Publicis Group is preferred
  • Expertise in procurement, commercial, commodity and total system cost functional
  • Prior working experience in supporting retail and marketing businesses
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication and advocacy skills
  • Experience working in a co-located fashion with supported clients
  • Understanding of client’s business and objectives
  • Able to work independently
  • Knowledge of purchase-to-pay process
  • Proficiency in SAP, SMART, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint
