ExxonMobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region. 

 

ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

 

ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

What role you will play in team


You will play a key role in supporting contract management activities across business lines by ensuring contractual documentation, approvals, and data are accurately maintained and compliant with internal policies and legal obligations. Acting as a coordination point between commercial, legal, operational, and external stakeholders, you will help ensure smooth contract execution, risk visibility, and strong governance throughout the contract lifecycle.

Work location: Bangalore ,  5 days working from office.

What you will do


•    Draft and Distribute contracts and related documentation to all relevant stakeholders, including internal teams, third-party personnel, and regulatory representatives. 
•    Coordinate functional reviews, endorsements, and approvals of contracts across different teams, regions, and organizations.
•    Maintain accurate contract master data within systems, ensuring alignment with contractual terms and company policies.
•    Manage contract repositories, including amendments, approvals, and supporting documentation, ensuring proper filing and accessibility.
•    Support internal audits and maintain contract registers and documentation compliance.
•    Monitor contractual obligations, notices, renewals, expiration timelines, and standard template usage.
•    Assist contract owners and business lines in resolving operational, commercial, or contractual issues.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Trading, Legal, Credit) in developing General Terms & Conditions and approval frameworks.
•    Support risk identification, including contract valuation and highlighting high-risk contractual clauses.

About you


Required Skills:
•    Minimum Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6 CGPA.
•    Minimum 2 years’ experience in contract administration.
•    Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
•    Structured, control-oriented approach to documentation and processes.
•    Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across functions.
•    Customer-focused mindset with ability to support operational needs.
•    Experience or exposure to contract management support activities.
•    Strong organizational skills, time management, prioritization, and workload planning ability.
•    Utilize systems such as SAP, SharePoint, and other company databases to complete work and assist others.
•    Previous experience in contract administration, commercial operations, legal support, or similar environment.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:


•    Familiarity with contract management systems, documentation repositories, or compliance processes.
•    Experience working in cross-functional and international environments.
•    Understanding of commercial risk management or contractual governance processes.
•    Experience in preparing performance reports or KPIs
•    Experience of handing one/multiple categories like:

    Contract management systems, documentation repositories, or compliance processes, (e.g. SAP, SharePoint)
    Complex contract, GT&Cs (Global Terms and Conditions) or MTA (Master Trading Agreement) sreviews
    Commodity Trading: Crude Product & Feedstock .
