ExxonMobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region. 

 

ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

 

ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.


The Global Business Center - Technology Center provides a range of technical and business support services for ExxonMobil’s operations around the globe.

What role you will play in our team

  • Business Analyst - Global Sourcing (GS) will be responsible for GS reporting and KPIs, communications/newsletter, Prioritized changes to SIP (Supplier Intelligence Platform) Platform, interface with GEP, owner/custodian of platform (checking on this one with other SMART and GEP stakeholders), responsibility of GS communication

What you will do

  • ​​​​​​Owns overall GS SIP enablement, quality control, design and user interface
  • Supports the CoE's (Center of excellence)  advanced analytics by ensuring tool can accurately capture and report metrics to feed into CoE (Center of excellence) KPIs
  • Coordinates SIP support / help desk activities with existing SMART support groups to ensure the tool remains functional and supports user needs
  • Leads users in SIP tool training to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Supports projects and sites by approving data upload; ensuring documentation is correctly formatted for upload
  • Assists SI Supervisor in the integration of new market intelligence providers' data to the SIP tool

About you

  • Experience with Business Analytics Tools
  • Preferably history working with 3rd party technology vendors such as: Bloomberg, IHS, Power Advocate, etc.
  • Strong ability to create reports that drive business value compiled from unstructured and semi-structured data
  • Strong communicator with the ability to distill analysis, crystalize insights and make recommendations based on analysis in both visual and oral forms
  • Experience presenting to both technical and business audiences


Skills and Qualifications.

  • Bachelor's in engineering/ business management/ IT with minimum 7 CGPA.
  • 4-8 years of experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide IT solutions, preferably including cloud/Software as a Service (SaaS) experience


Preferred Qualifications/Experience.

  • Effective communication, interpersonal and planning skills
  • Ability to network across business line and Procurement organizations, influencing without authority
  • Ability to work across all equipment and materials technical disciplines​
