What role you will play in our team

 

Responsible for building and managing relationships with internal customers, procurement and external vendors to maximize business benefits while ensuring contractual obligations are met or exceeded.  Serves as central point of contact between the service lines and assigned vendors to facilitate client external sourcing plans aligned with strategic goals. Manage and support strategic MSP engagements across the Corporation to ensure corporate leverage is utilized,  best practices and learnings are consistently applied and faster enablement for new engagements is achieved.


The role will be based in Bengaluru, Whitefield and is a full-time office-based position.

What you will do

 

  • Contract Management: provides expertise to assist functions develop statement of work (SOW) documents, RFPs, RFQs and RFIs in partnership with Procurement MSP team.
  • Financial & Risk Management: monitors vendor health and manages vendor risk by performing financial and market evaluations
  • Performance Management: develop best practices and guidelines to support functional VMOs in managing MSP performance; Focuses on identifying/mitigating interdependencies among service providers impacting service delivery
  • Relationship Management: Manages and builds strong relationships with key service provider senior contacts to facilitate sharing of market insights and act as escalation point where common performance feedback concerns are seen across functions 

About You

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of best practices and experience operating with strategic sourcing processes for multiple, complex and/or global towers and suppliers
  • Experience in vendor management and/or procurement - contracts management
  • Experience in vendor management tools, Procurement ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of contract law, compliance, contract lifecycle management tools, legal terms, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership skills, experience working in a global environment and working with global & virtual teams
  • Excellent l presentation, listening, and communication skills.
  • Effective communication in languages in addition to English preferred
  • Evaluation and onboarding new vendors
  • Strong Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI or Tableau
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration / finance / Procurement / Supply chain.
  • Proven track record of managing vendor performance and relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost efficiencies.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.

 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a diverse team and independently.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in both oral and written English.  
  • Strong ability to coach and educate larger organization on vendor management guidelines.
  • Negotiation & Persuasion: Ability to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously.
  • Work experience on alignment of vendor strategy with overall business goals.
  • Experience of working with cross-border or international vendors.
