What role you will play in our team

 

The Identity & Access Management support team is a globally dispersed team that manages and maintains the IT applications around identity & access. Applications include both in-house and vendor supported applications. This position is located in bangalore, India

What you will do

 

This position is for an Application Authentication Engineer within the IAM team. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting authentication services and related infrastructure to ensure secure and seamless access for external and internal users.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support the External Authentication Service (EAS) platform and related services, managing all third-party access to XOM using Okta, Okta Access Gateway (OAG), and SecureAuth.
  • Provision and manage TLS digital certificates for the corporation, including developing associated automation solutions (APIs and ServiceNow forms).
  • Develop and maintain the EAS API (custom API built on NodeJS) and Admin Console (Web App built on React), including understanding API functionality and creating new APIs.
  • Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform for authentication-related services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of authentication services with enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve authentication-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of services.

About you


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with Okta, SecureAuth, and SSL/TLS technologies.
  • Knowledge of API development and front-end development (React).
  • Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Strong infrastructure background, including experience in:
  • Server engineering
  • Networking
  • Hardware
  • Backend and frontend development (or similar technical foundation)
  • Knowledge of identity and access management.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Skills and interests in developing automation scripts.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and requirements.
  • Incident and change management experience.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
