Equipment Strategy Engineer

Job Role Summary

Equipment Strategy Engineer will develop and steward equipment strategies based on risk based inspection processes. 

Job Role Responsibilities

• Develop risk profiles based on inspection and process data
• Perform scenario based risk assessments for mechanical integrity and process degradations
• Recommend tasks to mitigate mechanical integrity risk
• Communicate and steward risk mitigation to equipment owners
• Subject matter expert for mechanical integrity of fixed equipment

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Fixed Equipment Engineering or plant engineering role
• Demonstrated potential for a leadership role
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME Sec VIII, B31.3, API 510, 570, 579)
• Knowledgeable in mechanical integrity and risk-based inspection
• Knowledge of metallurgy and corrosion associated with refinery/petrochemical process
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Significant prior experience in a manufacturing plant or equivalent understanding of manufacturing processes
