Job Role Summary


Deliver data and analytics solutions to Chemical business supporting business to make faster/better decision with data insight

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing data and analytics solutions to support business requirements
  • Responsible for data design and code-writing to transform, reshape or measure data to support decision making
  • Responsible for developing (advanced) persona based visualizations, maintaining and updating visualizations regularly to improve user experience
  • Advanced data mining to find insights or correlations within the data
  • Analyze and interpret complex data (Data Scientist skills)
  • Be partly hands-on and be able to work with data/tools to get desired solutions and enhance business solutions advisor to find the insights and dependencies of data
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, operating procedures and service standards
  • Seek and implement opportunities for automation or efficiency to increase organizational effectiveness
  • Participate in Proof of Concepts

Job Requirements

  • Information Technology, Engineering or Science-based university degrees, scoring GPA 65% and above
  • Have experience with MS SQL and Python
  • Good SAP business process knowledge in either Supply Chain, Commerce, Marketing or Manufacturing is required
  • Experience with any of the following visualisation, reporting or workflow software is preferred: (BW, Tableau, PowerBI, Winshuttle, Salesforce Reporting/Einstein (running on lightening)
  • Experience with User Centered Design is an advantage
  • Chemical business knowledge
  • Analytical tool knowledge (Tableau or Power BI)
  • Technical overview in data analysis (SnowFlake, SAP Data Service, Information Steward, TOAD, Tableau, SalesForce)

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (KSA’s)

  • Fluency in English: TOEIC 800+, TOEFL iBT 98+, or IELTS 6.5+ 
  • 0 - 3 years work experience

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong planning, coordination and controls mindset
