What role you will play in our team
The Web Content Author is responsible for managing, formatting, and publishing approved content on corporate websites and digital platforms for a global organization. This role ensures that all web content adheres to brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and SEO best practices. The position focuses on content accuracy, consistency, and technical compliance rather than content creation. The Web Content Author must be able to work flexible hours to support global business operations across multiple time zones.
What you will do
Content Publishing & Management
Upload, format, and publish approved content using the organization’s CMS (e.g., Sitecore).
Ensure proper linking, navigation, and page structure for optimal user experience.
Maintain content libraries and version control.
Quality Assurance
Review and validate content for accuracy, grammar, and compliance with brand guidelines.
Check for broken links, missing assets, and accessibility compliance (WCAG standards).
Conduct regular audits to ensure content is current and functional.
SEO & Optimization
Apply SEO best practices during publishing (meta tags, alt text, headings, internal linking).
Optimize images and media for performance and responsiveness.
Collaboration
Work with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure content aligns with campaign and business objectives.
Coordinate with stakeholders to implement approved updates and changes.
Technical Support
Troubleshoot CMS-related issues and escalate technical problems as needed.
Assist in testing new templates, components, and functionality before deployment.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure all published content meets legal, regulatory, and accessibility requirements.
Follow established workflows and approval processes for content updates.
Reporting & Analytics
Monitor content performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
Provide reports and recommendations for improving site engagement and usability.
Global Responsibilities
Support multiple time zones and business units by working flexible hours as needed.
Coordinate with international teams to ensure timely publishing and updates.
Understand cultural and regional differences in content presentation and compliance.
About You
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, IT, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in web content management or digital publishing.
- Proficiency in CMS platforms (Sitecore).
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and web standards.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and accessibility guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise CMS systems and workflows.
- Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) tools.
- Understanding of UX principles and responsive design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
