ExxonMobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region. 

 

ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

 

ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

What Will You Do

 

Communicate, coordinate, and align:

    • Utilize P-OIF Tool/Aera to critically assess data and understand implications, lead weekly meetings with key stakeholders to review and drive decision making provide recommendation related to product allocation
    • Minimize Sales involvement in forecasting and order block questions
    • Liaise between Sales and, Supply Chain, Customer Service
      • Ensure alignment with Sales effective & mutually agreed alignment
      • Alert Sales and Supply Chain concerning deviations from plan
      • Leverage P-OIF tool as single source of truth

What Will You Do-Continued

 

  • Develop and review the forecast:
      • Collect, test, and upload Sales Adjusted Forecast (SAF)
        • Use Excel Front End Tool
        • Effectively leverage Focus and Non-Focus lists
        • Incorporates threshold values
      • Manage Volume:

          • Manage allocation of products to customers
            • Allocate volumes in line with supply signals & outlook
            • Communicate levels and make recommendations
            • Release agreed volume based on decision tree

What you will do-Continued

 

 

    • Manage allocation blocks
      • Monitor blocked order report and send out revise message to Customer service as and when required
    • Monitor order in flow and release extra volume, if available
    • Co-ordinate allocation swaps if applicable
    • Coordinate allocation adjustments driven by specific sales or supply scenarios
    • Properly apply Statistical (STAT) forecast and SAF input logic
    • Assist Demand Planner to optimize & review forecast
    • Hold Sales accountable for forecastJob location is Bengaluru 

About You

 

Skills & Qualifications

 

 

  • Experience in demand and/or supply planning processes for either inbound materials or finished products
  • Experience in conducting analysis and providing data-driven recommendations for SC processes
  • Experience in using Supply Chain management systems/softwares (e.g. SAP/APO/IBP, Kinaxis)
  • Proficient in extracting information from ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) to generate data insights
  • Minimum1 years or more of experience post-secondary school graduation
  • Experience supporting supply chain and operations
  • Experience in product allocation or dealing with volume/Inventory management
  • Bachelors Degree or above
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including conceptual capabilities
