What role you will play in our team
The Revenue and Royalties Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the processes related to revenue recognition and royalty payments within Financial Services India GBC. This role will ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies while supporting the strategic goals of the organization.

What you will do
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Management: Oversee the accurate and timely recognition of revenue in accordance with accounting standards and company policies
- Royalties Management: Manage the calculation, reporting, and payment of royalties to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in revenue and royalties management
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operations teams, to ensure alignment and support for revenue and royalties processes
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies and provide accurate and timely reporting on revenue and royalties
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with revenue recognition and royalty payments
- Training and Development: Train and support staff on revenue and royalties processes and best practices
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance of revenue and royalties processes, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
About You
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA or relevant certification is a plus
- Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in accounting / revenue and royalties management, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Experience with US GAAP Accounting principles is a plus
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles and royalty management
- Excellent process management and optimization skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
