ExxonMobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region.
ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.
ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.

What role you will play in our team
- Build and execute a replenishment plan to satisfy customer demand at supply points
- Coordinate import and export movements
- Propose solutions for supply constraints and support the GATP process
- Maintain target inventory levels at supply points in collaboration with Replenishers in other regions where applicable
- Maintain target service level by effectively managing availability constraints
- Job location is Bengaluru.
What you will do
- Manage inventory levels at supply points, working to achieve pre-established targets
- Coordinate material movement between plants and supply points (domestic, imports / exports)
- Coordinate with the warehousing team on container prioritization in case of negative ATP
- Collaborate with counterparts in other regions to plan and coordinate inter-regional product movements
- Initiate (receiving region) and convert (sending region) STRs to STOs
- Monitor and update ATP dates and/or reservations/bookings as needed
- Resolve availability blocks
- Identify and address supply constraints in collaboration with Supply Planning Supervisors
- Communicate with Customer Service regarding product availability issues that could impact committed sales orders
- Coordinate alternate source requests
- Participate in QRTs (Quick Response Team) as required
- Support Volume Management Specialists to clear orders in accordance to supply signals
- Manage remnant STRs, PRs and STOs to ensure data integrity
- Maintain good housekeeping of PPDS board (e.g. t-lane priorities, GR processing time, horizon settings)
- Maintain system / master data setup related to replenishment planning (e.g. t-lanes)
- Review source plant and material extension requests for CMIRs
- Monitor blocked inventory and communicate to appropriate areas for timely unblocking
- Support depletion of aged / non-productive inventory (NPI)
- Support downgrade/reclass/surplus/write-off/scrap activity as needed
- Identify and resolve partial lot inventory
- Work with the PMI (Product Movements & Inventory) team as needed
- Experience in conducting analysis and providing data-driven recommendations for SC processes
- Support investigation of replenishment related CFBs (c.360 cases)
- Provide backup for other Replenishment Schedulers and Supply Planning Supervisors
- Support month end closing activities and coordination with Payables (SA specific)
- Supporting on 3rd party material supply (PO entry, coordination of material receipt, invoicing – SE&B specific)
About You
Skills and Qualifications
- Problem solving and improvement mindset
- 3 years or more of experience post-secondary school graduation
- Experience in using Supply Chain management systems/software’s (e.g. SAP/APO/IBP, Kinaxis)
- Analytical capability and appetite
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in demand and/or supply planning processes for either inbound materials or finished products
- Experience supporting supply chain and operations
- Demonstrated teamwork and ability to collaborate effectively across regional and functional boundaries
- Adapts to changing & competing priorities in response to dynamic supply/demand situations
- Make and support sound business decisions in complex situations by clearly understanding and articulating risks & options
- Working independently and knowing when to escalate
- Proficient in extracting information from ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) to generate data insight
- Proactively monitors and resolves issues, following up on pending requests, and communicates to key stakeholders on progress & updates
- Experience in product allocation or dealing with volume/Inventory management
- Prioritizing and organizing tasks based on urgency, developing events, and time sensitive needs while coping with the stressful situations in an operational environment
- Ability to think ahead, anticipating issues/impacts and preventing where possible
- Good understanding of supported business is preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of SAP (e.g. ECC, APO) tools is preferred
