Whar role you will play in team
The Project to Assets Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of Project to Assets Analysts and a Coordination Lead within Financial Services India GBC. This team ensures the timely and accurate accounting and reporting of long-term fixed assets and intangibles of the company.
What you will do
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Project to Assets Analysts and a Coordination Lead
Strategic Oversight: Provide strategic oversight for the Project to Assets processes
Performance Monitoring: Monitor team performance and productivity, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews
Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on project to assets activities to senior management
Compliance: Ensure all work processes comply with relevant process controls and reporting requirements
Training and Development: Develop and implement training to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members
About you
Required qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting/finance and reporting of fixed assets and intangibles, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role, preferably within the oil and gas industry
- Skills:
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Power BI, and other analytics tools
- Experience in SAP, Group Reporting , Blackline, Workiva or analytics tools such as PowerBI
- Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping concepts
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Resilience, flexibility and agility
- Proficiency in English
Preferred Qualification:
- Degree from a university in the U.S., U.K., Australia or other English speaking international institution
- Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
