Whar role you will play in team
The Project to Assets Analyst will be responsible for accounting and reporting for long-term fixed assets and intangibles of the company.
What you will do
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting and Reporting:
- Oversee the creation, monitoring, and capitalization of projects
- Track and control costs associated with projects
- Manage the accounting and reporting of long-term fixed assets and intangibles
- Handle the acquisition and registration of assets
- Analyze depreciation, depletion, and amortization
- Manage the disposal and elimination of assets
- Coordinate month-end close activities
- Perform fluctuation analysis
- Provide support for tax reporting
- Handle governmental reporting requirements
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain close interaction with business lines and Planning & Stewardship teams
- Fixed Assets Independent Verification: Support fixed assets independent verification
- Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation: Perform balance sheet account reconciliations
About you
Required qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and reporting of fixed assets and intangibles
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with data visualization tools and ERP systems is a plus
- Understanding of accounting principles and practices
- SAP, Group Reporting , Blackline, Workiva or analytics tools such as PowerBI
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Proficiency in English
- Analytical and creative thinking abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
