ExxonMobil’s affiliates have offices in India in Bengaluru, Mumbai and the National Capital Region.
ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.
ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.
The Global Business Center - Technology Center provides a range of technical and business support services for ExxonMobil’s operations around the globe.

Job will be based at Bangalore, Whitefield office ( WFO) for 5 days in a week.
What role you will play in team
Global Sourcing Center of Excellence (CoE) Analyst(s) will support the execution of the Global Sourcing CoE Processes. Key process areas are Supplier Qualification, ExxonMobil Supplier List (EMSL), Supplier Performance Management (SPM) and Market Intelligence (MI). Each Global Sourcing CoE Analyst will initially be assigned to one of these key process areas.
What you will do
Global Supplier List:
- Maintain global supplier list consistent with updates received internally and externally by collaborating with stakeholders, spend analysis for Assigned categories.
- Explore, identify, and upload new supplier data
- Perform new supplier scouting using advanced analytic techniques & partnership with Supplier development Manager
- Perform Category health assessment of major Equipment & Materials such Pressure Vessels, Machinery, Heat Exchangers , Pipes etc.
Supplier Qualification:
- Create analytics for planning qualification needs and develop analytics to report and drive insights.
- Lead/support desktop review during qualification
- Prepare draft qualification report and review with Qualification lead
- Onboarding of qualified suppliers into system.
About you
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in an environment that prioritized data quality
- Preferred experience in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals industry
- Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities including pattern detection, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
- Ability to interpret and visualize data for reporting to Leads and end users
- Able to work in an evolving and fast-paced environment and adjust to multiple priorities and timelines
- Effective communication, interpersonal and planning skills
- Procurement processes within a project setting (source list, specification, bid process, expediting, inspection, etc.)
- Engineering and QC roles in procurement processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Experience on Supplier Data Management
- Experience of handling large & complex data set
- Experience using and drawing insights from procurement, engineering, and market intelligence technology sources
- Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications
- Bachelor’s Degree / equivalent in Engineering / Technology preferably in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering
