ExxonMobil’s affiliates in India supporting the Product Solutions business engage in the marketing, sales and distribution of performance as well as specialty products across chemicals and lubricants businesses. The India planning teams are also embedded with global business units for business planning and analytics.

 

ExxonMobil’s LNG affiliate in India supporting the upstream business provides consultant services for other ExxonMobil upstream affiliates and conducts LNG market-development activities.


The Global Business Center - Technology Center provides a range of technical and business support services for ExxonMobil’s operations around the globe.

What role you will play in our team

 

 

Leads deployment planning across a distribution network to ensure product availability, cost efficiency, and service levels. Drives cross-functional alignment, network optimization, and continuous improvement using advanced analytics and supply chain tools.

What you will do

 

 

  • Lead deployment planning to ensure product availability and balanced inventory across the supply network.
  • Plan and manage product deployment to meet service level and inventory targets, leveraging DRP and network build/draw strategies.
  • Align and coordinate cross-functional teams—including supply, demand, production, and logistics—for seamless execution of deployment plans.
  • Optimize inventory flow from plants to warehouses, minimizing stockouts and overstock through data-driven decisions.
  • Analyze network performance, stock-out trends, and adjust planning parameters such as safety stock and lot sizes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain system accuracy and continuously refine deployment forecasts based on market dynamics and business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance deployment processes, tools, and overall supply chain responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with external partners—including third-party logistics providers, export centers, and freight forwarders—for efficient inbound and outbound planning.
  • Ensure accurate handling of import duties and compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Optimize inter- and intra-plant deployment in coordination with production and logistics teams to support smooth material flow.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and deployment status regularly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards across all deployment activities.
  • Support change management during product transitions, network redesigns, or supply disruptions to minimize operational impact.
  • Document deployment processes thoroughly and enable effective knowledge transfer and retention across teams

About You

 

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field

  • Certified: APICS CPIM/CSCP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma

  • 5+ years in supply chain/manufacturing across FMCG, CPG, Oil & Gas, and E-commerce

  • Expertise in DRP, S&OP, inventory management, and network optimization

  • Knowledge of import/export operations and regulatory compliance

  • Advanced in SAP (IBP/APO), Excel (Power Query), Blue Yonder, Kinaxis

  • Skilled in Tableau, Power BI, and statistical forecasting

  • Experience with R/Python for automation and analytics

     

  • Proven project/change management across cross-functional teams

  • Strong communicator with global stakeholder engagement

  • Customer-focused with a drive for continuous improvement
