What role you will play in our team

 

This role will be responsible for installing and maintaining mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, witnessing custody transfer and performing allocation meter calibrations. Develops and applies skills in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting natural gas, CO2 and crude oil measurement systems, and pneumatic devices and controls in a plant or field environment.

What you will do

 

  • Install and maintain measurement devices.  
  • Maintain measurement calibration data and records.
  •  Perform verification/calibration of measurement equipment which may include electronic and mechanical devices.  
  • Coordinate,schedule and witness meter provings and calibrations of custody transfer meters.  
  • Collect high pressure gas samples for lab analysis.
  • Witness proving and calibration of custody transfer meters. 
  • Maintenance and security of custody transfer meters. 
  • Installation, maintenance and calibration of measurement devices. 
  • Maintain meter and gas analyses data as required by company policy.  
     

About you

 

We are looking for someone who has a strong pipeline operations background and has the following qualifications:

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of measurement experience in the oil and gas industry.  
  • Understand the importance of Safe Work Operations and Stop Work Authority.
  • Working knowledge of oil and gas production operations.  
  • Proficient in MS Windows environment.
  •  Ability to work in a fast paced environment while managing multiple tasks.  
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and remote locations.  
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel.  
  • Willing to work overtime and take callouts as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.  
  • Knowledge of meter applications and design.  Working knowledge of API, AGA, BLM etc.
  • Detail the KSA’s required for the position 

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

  • Self Motivated but excels in a team environment.  
  • Able to foster and maintain positive relationships.  
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experienced with ABB Totalflow and Fisher ROC EFMs.
  •  Working knowledge of operation and maintenance of gas chromatographs.
