What role you will play in our team
ExxonMobil Production Guyana Limited Measurement Engineers have the responsibility to provide key measurement-related technical, execution, and operational support for the local operating assets.
What you will do
The Measurement Engineer role will be located in Georgetown, Guyana and will be tasked with supporting ongoing production operations, advising operations on technical issues, implementing and sustaining corporate measurement standards and working across disciplines to provide measurement support to production and project teams.
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in an engineering discipline, preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or Petroleum
- Minimum of 1 year working experience
- Willingness and ability to travel to offshore and international locations, flexible and adaptable to various living and working conditions
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders and to manage short deadlines
- Excellent administrative and organizational competencies
- Ability to think strategically and develop creative fit for purpose solutions
- Excellent analytic and troubleshooting abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
- Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially in the context of technical and business communications
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in oil and gas industry with upstream operations, onshore facility/plant, offshore platform/FPSO or refining/chemical plant background preferred, but not required.
