What Role Will You Play In Our Team

 

In the commercial career field we deploy commercial opportunities, build key relationships and shape our business strategies through insights & analysis. In Budapest, the commercial career field is represented by Supply Chain, Global Trading, Product Solutions and Environmental & Property Solutions.
In our Budapest office, you will become the responsible for providing commercial support covering end-to-end processing, issue resolution and process improvements for trades negotiated by traders and negotiators located in different parts of the world. Individuals may be responsible for the activities of specific countries and hence knowledge of a second European language can be beneficial, but not mandatory. Demonstrated performance will lead to opportunities for increasing responsibilities and more job complexities across the organization.

What You Will Do

 

  • Prepare hard copy contracts, sending them to counterparties, responding to their incoming queries and analyzing incoming 3rd party paper contracts and amendments
  • Coordinate, record functional reviews and endorsements of contracts and GT&C’s (General Terms and Conditions) across organizations & regions
  • Interpret contract language, terms and conditions into administrative actions; manage corresponding documentation and business reporting in a timely manner
  • Communicate with trading partners on any subsequent changes to contract terms and conditions; works to achieve closure on all contract provisions to maximize legal protection of EM
  • Ensure all master data requests are accurately entered into appropriate system and comply with all EM company policies and legal obligations
  • Responsibility for periodic business reporting (insurance, anti-boycott, buy/sell, etc.)
  • Support traders and contract owners in resolving operational, commercial or contractual issues
  • Attain and maintain in-depth understanding of the Contract Management work activities and associated applications
  • Monitor and support compliance with due contractual obligations
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Support the implementation of process harmonization, initiatives and new business scenarios

About You: Skills And Qualifications

 

  • Ongoing or completed Bachelor/Master degree in Business Economics/Logistics/International Business Administration, Law or equivalent
  • 0-3 years of professional experience
  • Fluent level of English is required while a second European language is beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface across functions in a geographically diverse, multi-cultural and partly virtual organization
  • Excellent time management, well organized and structured
  • Works independently, proactively and prioritize workload under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to understand contracting/agreement`s language, contract management processes
  • Team player
  • Process oriented with continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hrs/week)
  • Interest in long term career opportunities
